CRANES for PRECAST CONCRETE
Although pre-cast concrete dates back to the Roman times, today, pre-cast concrete is replacing metal structures in a wide variety of product areas, from road and building construction materials to water handling equipment. In many areas, the advantages of casting concrete in a reusable mold or "form" and curing it in a controlled environment, then transporting it to the construction site and lifting it into place far outweigh the disadvantages when an articulating crane is used as the lifting device.
Articulating cranes have the advantage of being more flexible of where they set-up at the construction site and their ability to lift heavy loads horizontally, over obstacles and into place with extreme accuracy makes them ideal for placing precast walls, water handling units, into precise position, saving time and money and increasing safety on the job site.
